A beautiful and atmospheric new song by Hasten Mercy and Samantha Gibb entitled “Erindale ( I Will Meet You Here Again)” has recently been unveiled as a nostalgic tribute to the music of the youths of the artists. The song is a flurry of harmonic and melodic prisms. The collaboration of the two artists just seems to fall into place.
Samantha Gibb hails from one of the most legendary groups of all time, but is also a very gifted and dedicated musician on her own. Her vocals are beautiful and confident. The song is obviously a legacy to the music of her family. She has her own compelling sound however, and she’s an incredible songwriter and multi-instrumentalist.
Hasten Mercy is a side project of the band member of Head Fake. Michael Baker is a super talented vocalist and musician who started playing covers and original material in New York City and New Jersey. He turned much of his focus to producing music for his daughter rising superstar Baker Grace, however, in the midst of that was able to put out this alliance with Samantha Gibb.
The song is a phenomenal, Woodstock loving, inclusive, holistic, peace loving, artistically created song. It is a folk type song with a pop flair and all those nostalgic in nature, very apropos for today’s climate and chaos. It’s calming with a great musical sensibility.
