It looks like David Beador just scored a rare win. The ex-husband of Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador just had the criminal charges dropped from his reckless driving charge. The news comes right on the heels of his divorce from Lesley Beador. As one legal case closes, another one opens.
David Beador is off the hook for this one
Back in March, the cops busted David for driving his Porche at 119 MPG in a 60 MPH zone. It all happened first thing in the morning, and they slapped with one count of reckless driving and an infraction for “unlawfully driving a vehicle at a speed greater than 100 miles per hour.”
At the time, David denied the accusations and entered a nonguilty plea for the misdemeanor charges. Somehow, that ended up working out in his favor. According to In Touch, his criminal charges were dropped during a hearing on September 19.
It’s not clear why the judge decided to dismiss the case. Maybe they felt some pity for David considering he’s practically a regular at the courthouse. In addition to the criminal charges, his estranged wife Lesley recently obtained a temporary restraining order against him. She claimed he had been verbally abusive in front of their children.
In the restraining order petition, Lesley claimed that she was living in fear of David’s next meltdown. Meanwhile, he hit black and claimed that she was trying to extort him for money.
Now, the two are gearing up for a legal battle over custody of their daughter. It’s a lot of drama, so with these reckless driving charges dismissed, David and his lawyers can fully focus on the fight with Lesley.
