Following the success of her hit “Anywhere With You,” Gina Zollman has just unveiled the highly anticipated music video for her latest single, “Where I Begin,” now available worldwide.
Hailing from Palm Springs, California, Gina Zollman is a talented singer/songwriter making waves on West Coast stages. Her journey into music began at the tender age of six, and she honed her craft through school performances. Gina pursued her passion academically, earning a BA in Linguistics with a minor in Music from UCSD Revelle College. Her career path initially led her to the corporate world, where she excelled as a stockbroker and later as Vice President and COO of Flame Gard, known for its innovative kitchen safety solutions.
Despite her success in the corporate sphere, Gina’s heart remained with music and entertainment. She transitioned from her corporate role to pursue her true calling, debuting her one-woman show at The Gardenia in Hollywood to a sold-out crowd. Known for her comedic creations like “Svetlana, the Russian Runway Model Who Ran Away” and “The PMS Poster Woman,” Gina’s performances are celebrated for their humor and charm. She has auditioned for “In Living Color,” co-starred in “LA Young Pal,” and joined the Screen Actors Guild through her role on “The New Gong Show.”
Gina’s impressive vocal talents have graced prestigious venues, including Carnegie Hall, where she performed John Rutter’s “Te Deum” and “Gloria” with “The Marina Singers.” Her personal journey has been marked by significant health challenges, including Stage 3 colon cancer and a stroke, but she has remained resilient, infusing her performances with humor and introspection. After undergoing gastric bypass surgery in 1997 and losing 120 pounds, she has maintained her weight loss for over two decades.
Her extensive stage experience includes performances at iconic locations such as The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel’s Cinegrill, The Magic Castle, The Comedy Store, and The Catalina Jazz Club. Gina also originated roles at The NoHo London Music Hall and received acting coaching from Sandy Holt of Second City. Her album, “Gina Zollman: Anywhere With You,” produced by Steven Applegate, was recorded at Capitol Records in Hollywood.
Now dividing her time between Southern California and Point Roberts, Washington, Gina enjoys a seasonal life near Vancouver, BC.
