After the success of Pathaan, John Abraham is gearing up for his upcoming thriller, Vedaa. The makers have scheduled the movie for release on July 12, 2024.
Nikkhil Advani directed the movie, and Aseem Arrora wrote it. John Abraham’s JA Entertainment is producing the movie alongside Monisha Advani and Madhu Bhojwani’s Emmay Entertainment. Zee Studios is also producing and presenting the movie. Vedaa also stars Sharvari Wagh, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Abhishek Banerjee.
Vedaa to release on July 12, 2024
On Wednesday, February 7, John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh took to their social media to reveal their first-look posters along with the release date of the movie. They captioned the post with, “Get ready to unleash the action!” Both John and Sharvari appeared fierce in the posters, with bruises and blood all over them. However, neither the posters nor the caption mentioned the title of the movie.
Later, the makers dropped the official poster for Vedaa along with the release date, July 12, 2024. They captioned the post with, “She needed a savior. She got a weapon. Releasing in cinemas on July 12th!”

The makers promise the movie to be a “thrilling experience filled with high-octane sequences and gripping action.” Expressing his excitement, director Nikkhil Advani said, “Vedaa is not just a film. It’s inspired from real events and is a reflection of our society and pushes the boundaries of reality. Working with John, Sharvari and Abhishek Banerjee has been an incredible experience and I’m glad to finally announce the release date and fingers crossed the audiences gets moved the way we all did when we first heard the story of Vedaa.”
