Khloe Kardashian Almost Named Her Son After an Animal

Picking the perfect baby name is a huge task, even for a famous mom like Khloe Kardashian. While she eventually chose the name Tatum for her second child, the journey was not easy. In a new video, Khloe shared that her son was actually nameless for nearly a year. She called him “Baby” for months while she searched for the right fit. She even considered a very fierce animal-inspired name before deciding on Tatum. The reality star shows that every parent struggles with this big decision.

Khloe Kardashian really liked the name ‘Tiger’ for her son Tatum

Khloe revealed these secrets during a new “Ask Me Anything” video on her YouTube channel. The video is titled In this Ask Me Anything, Khloé answers your most personal and unexpected questions… from red flags she’s ignored in love to whether she’d ever have another baby. She answered many personal questions about her life and family. One fan asked about names she almost picked for her kids, True and Tatum.

Khloe admitted she did not have a name for Tatum for nine months after his birth. She said this was “crazy” because it took so long. During that time, the family just called him “Baby.” Sometimes they even called him “Rob” after her brother. Khloe knew she wanted a name that started with the letter “T”. She wanted it to match her daughter, True. She looked for something unique but not too “crazy.” The wildest name she liked was Tiger. In the end, she decided Tiger was a bit too much.

The name drama happened with her daughter, True, too. Khloe loved the name True from the start. However, Tristan Thompson had a different idea. He wanted to name her Khaleesi. This was because Game of Thrones was very popular at the time. Khloe knew right away she would not use that name. She called the idea “crazy” and said it was never going to happen. Khloe’s story is a fun look at how hard it can be to pick the perfect name.
