Not even officially released yet, THE AMERICAN RELICS newest song “Hey, Where Ya Going?” is already getting KISS FM radio play. In this song frontman John Gitano shows his vocal abilities to the max, clear as a bell and resonating his talent on guitar to the world.
Band members Neal Lazar on guitar, Josh Salant on drums, Patty Jarman on guitar and backup vocals, Adrienne Dugger on vocals, and Nelson Montana on bass are all top class musicians on their own…..but all together they are beyond superb. Their influences are a nostalgic memory from the past, however their music and song fit perfectly in the space of today. The band has been playing music for a lifetime, since the 60’s, however youth is not a time of life, but rather a state of mind. It is not a matter of red lips and rosy cheeks …it’s about the quality of the imagination….
“Hey, Where Ya Going?” is a love song in its own realm. It’s a jungle of personal emotions questioned and subdued. He loves her so much….yet he keeps on playing the game. He himself wonders why? It’s a bright and spirited song with a feel good presence. It’s a follow up to their YouTube hits “The Eyes of 1969” and “We’ve Got To Start it All Again.”
