Ahsoka season 2 has unveiled a brand-new logo at D23. And the new logo looks strikingly different from the old one.
During the unveiling at the D23 display, the new logo had a noticeably different color grading with a significant change in design compared to the previous one. The circular background base of the logo looked slick, with the words Star Wars: Ahsoka embedded on top in its iconic font. Interestingly, the entire logo had a bluish tint, which kind of gave off an icy, cold vibe.
While nothing has been confirmed as of now, the choice of colors for the second season’s logo might have something to do with the plot. In the same event, close-up looks at various major characters’ costumes were provided. Looking at Anakin Skywalker’s snowsuit costume and Young Ahsoka’s costume, fans have speculated that the season might contain flashback scenes in a cold and icy region, which might explain the possible logo redesign.
How the Season 2 logo differs from Ahsoka’s first season
The first season’s logo for Ahsoka was drastically different from the latest release. In season one, the background circle had a different design. It had parts with a distinctive bluish textured design, while the words Star Wars: Ahsoka were written in all white on a black background. In the previous season, the plot shows Ahsoka Tano, who was a former Jedi, getting immersed in tackling an unknown threat to the galaxy following the Galactic Empire’s fall.
The D23 display created a significant buzz among the fans as they were treated to some exclusive costume reveals. The Star Wars fans got to see Padawan Ahsoka, Ahsoka the White, Young Padawan Ahsoka, Sabine, Great Mother Klothow, and Grand Admiral Thrawn’s costumes.
Directed by Jennifer Getzinger, Dave Filoni, Anders Engström, and Bryce Dallas Howard, the second season of Ahsoka is expected to drop around early 2027.
