If you want to sell your movie these days, an easy way to do it is by describing it as John Wick meets…whatever. That certainly seems to have appealed to Badlands, as THR reports the company has acquired the script for Wildman, described as “John Wick meets Bigfoot“.
Yep, say no more. I’m sold.
Penned by Jacob Reiner, the official synopsis reads: “When his little brother is killed by hunters, Bigfoot goes on a quest to retrieve the body while killing everyone responsible along the way.”
I would buy my ticket to see that right now if I could.
Granted, I’m a sucker for Bigfoot movies. The Legend of Boggy Creek, Willow Creek, Abominable (pictured enough)…I can’t get enough of them. If Wildman lives up to the concept, you can bet it’ll become a part of my annual Bigfoot movie binge.

Before we see Bigfoot go wild on well-deserving hunters, Badlands will next release the spider-invasion movie Crawlers starring Matilda Lutz (Revenge) on October 16th.
