Days of Our Lives Spoilers For The Week of 4-27-26 Promise Way Too Much of Sophia As Sweeps Month Begins

Is anyone enjoying Sophia plotting with Kristen to kill Johnny and ruin Holly’s life?

I’m not. While Kristen being Kristen is always fun in a love-to-hate kind of way, manipulating Sophia to become even more violent and out of control is disgusting.

Plus, Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 4-27-26 suggest this story may take an even darker turn that I’m not in the mood for at all.

Sophia and Kristen Put Their Plan Into Action, But That’s Only Half The Story

These two have been talking for weeks about killing Johnny to get back at EJ, with Sophia constantly insisting she doesn’t want to do that, but getting sucked back into Kristen’s trap anyway.

I dislike stories where blackmail victims have no backbone whatsoever and only make a half-hearted effort to resist being forced to do something horrible despite a weak threat. But I like the idea of moving forward with this plan even less.

For the record, the chances are less than zero that Johnny will actually die. The character is supposed to leave Salem in about six months, so Sophia isn’t killing him off this week (and probably never will).

Still, Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 4-27-26 have Johnny opening the door to Sophia, who promptly sprays him in the face with some type of mace.

    (Peacock/Screenshot)

Most of Salem would be better off if they followed simple safety rules, like checking who is at the door before opening it. This is no exception, but hopefully it leads to Sophia getting caught.

The official Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 4-27-26 say that Johnny tries to get through to Sophia, so maybe this turns into a hostage situation before Javi makes it to the apartment to try to rescue Johnny.

Hopefully, this doesn’t end with Sophia stealing baby Trey and running away. I’ve been expecting her to do something like that all along, but I do not want to see it.

I’m also disturbed by another Days of Our Lives spoiler concerning Sophia.

[Note: This next section contains discussions of suicide.]

    (Peacock/Screenshot)

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 4-27-26 have Sophia’s mother finding a suicide note from Sophia.

Several years ago, the soap told an excellent story about JJ’s struggle with suicidal ideation, only to completely drop the ball on the aftermath and allow him to heal in five seconds.

We have different writers now, but I haven’t seen much evidence that they will take the topic any more seriously. After all, Marlena is mixing therapy and accusations when it comes to Xander.

Worse, I’m not sure that Sophia is actually suicidal. She may have written that note for other reasons, such as hoping her parents think she’s dead and don’t go looking for her.

I hope not. Suicide is a serious topic that deserves to be treated with respect. But I wouldn’t put it past Days of Our Lives to do something stupid like that.

    (Peacock/Screenshot)

That said, too many people have been threatening her lately, so I wouldn’t be surprised if we end up with a fake suicide note to cover up the fact that she’s been murdered.

For that matter, it wouldn’t be shocking if she took a leaf out of Philip’s book from before he went to the mental hospital in Europe and faked her own death so she could frame Holly for killing her.

Too many possibilities, none of them good. Can Sophia just leave town already?

Meanwhile, The Stephanie Storyline Is Concerning In A Thousand Ways

Stephanie getting a gun means that someone’s going to get shot who shouldn’t, and I hope it’s not Jeremy.

    (Peacock/Screenshot)

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 4-27-26 say that Jeremy “misreads” a situation with her on April 29, which happens to also be his last day on the soap.

The spoiler video has him leaning in for a kiss. I suppose it’s possible that Stephanie rejects him and he’s so embarrassed he leaves town, but I have a bad feeling that Stephanie overreacts and pulls her gun on him.

To be clear, I’ve hated the TV trope for years of people just assuming the other person wants to be kissed. It has always felt non-consensual to me.

So I don’t blame Stephanie for being angry or pushing Jeremy away forcefully.

At the same time, I don’t want the story to end with Jeremy dead or in critical condition. For Stephanie to go from being afraid of him to accusing him of stalking her to bonding with him over their shared trauma to shooting him would be a terrible, tragic, and unnecessary ending to this arc.

    (Peacock/Screenshot)

Plus, the problem of Stephanie dealing with Alex being the father of Joy’s baby will fade into the background just as it’s beginning if Stephanie faces legal or psychological consequences for shooting Jeremy.

A few other Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 4-27-26 pique my interest more than the main stories, especially Abe not wanting Theo to accept being the executor of Stefano’s will (which I’m not sure he can legally do).

I’m also curious about why Javi collapses in the hospital and if it has anything to do with the Johnny situation. Plus, Chanel’s test results should come back soon, and she’d better not have cancer.

There’s too much tragedy on this show and in the world as it is, without that.

What Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 4-27-26 are you most looking forward to?
