While Trump remains available to reporters through impromptu gaggles, formal, direct-to-camera speeches have been rare. His team now wants to change that. “We want to get into the rhythm of doing this,” the adviser told Axios. “It’s powerful when you give prime-time speeches that give a sense of importance to what he’s saying.”
Leading the agenda is the rapidly changing military situation with Iran. Hours before announcing the prime-time speech on his Truth Social platform, Trump declared he would reimpose a naval blockade and institute a 20 percent fee on ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz.

Despite losing that race, Trump has never conceded, and the review allows him to keep the narrative alive. The adviser flatly denied online speculation that the president plans to discuss the 2020 Senate runoffs in Georgia, confirming the focus remains squarely on his own defeat.
