What is the new Scarecrow TV show about?
Scarecrow focuses on the complexities of memory, trauma, and the elusive nature of truth. An official description for the thriller reads, “Thirteen years after a Halloween prank involving the burial of a scarecrow, a group of friends is forced to confront the unsettling realities of that night. As secrets unravel, the characters grapple with the consequences of their actions and the haunting question: what truly lies beneath?”
“Scarecrow embodies the essence of what we’ve tried to cultivate at Stonestreet—diverse narratives and casting that challenge, provoke, and resonate,” said director Alyssa Rallo Bennett. “Marin and I really connected. She’s so much fun to work with—so willing and reflective. What I love about her is that she has strength and grit on screen, but also embodies fragility and turmoil, which was necessary for her role in Scarecrow.”
Gary O. Bennett wrote the show. Stonestreet will soon showcase it at numerous esteemed festivals that align with the studio’s tradition of presenting compelling narratives that reflect the complexities of contemporary society.
Scarecrow has not yet received an official release date.
