Kristin Cavallari and Mark Estes Relationship Timeline

Kristin Cavallari and her new boo, TikToker Mark Estes, are proving that age is just a number. The Hills alum and the Montana Boyz star sparked romance rumors in March 2024 after they posted a TikTok together. In the video, Kristen is seen lipsyncing to the country song “One Number Away” by Luke Combs alongside Montana Boyz Kaleb Campbell Winterburn, Kade Wilcox, and Mark. At the end of the video, Mark picks Kristen up and spins her around, which caught the attention of fans.

Since then, Kristin, 37, and Mark, 24, have opened up about how they met, their 13-year age gap, and their plans for the future.

Here is a complete timeline of their relationship:

It All Started with a DM

Kristin shared her first impression of Mark in the March 12 episode of her podcast “Let’s Be Honest.” She told fans she first stumbled upon the Montana Boyz account in September 2023 and thought they were “so hot.”

“I’m scrolling and I come across this boy group, I guess you could call them, The Montana Boyz,” she said. “So I go, ‘Holy sh*t, who are these guys? Because they’re so hot. Specifically, this one, who I’m gonna refer to as ‘Montana.’”

While Mark may have caught Kristin’s eye, she didn’t reach out. She revealed Mark was the one who made the first move, telling fans he sent her a DM on Instagram that said, “I love you.”

“We just kind of started talking from there,” she said.

    They were each other’s Valentine

On her podcast, Kristin said she didn’t realize Mark was interested in her right away. She responded to the DM by extending an invitation to the Montana Boyz to hang out with her in Nashville but she didn’t expect it to turn into anything more.

“I was like, ‘I’m gonna take you guys out.’ Meaning me and all the girls that are in my office,” she said. “I have a lot of young girls in my office. I’m like, this works out well.”

When they were hanging out in Nashville, Mark made his feelings about Kristin clear.

“He asked me to be his Valentine,” she said. She accepted and the two went on their first date the day before Valentine’s Day.

He met her kids early on

Kristin revealed on her podcast that Mark met her kids on their first date. He picked her up and they were home. “He actually met my mom too,” she added. “I just really threw him in the mix.”

They became Instagram official in February

Kristin hard-launched her relationship with Mark on February 27 when she shared a photo of them on Instagram.

“He makes me happy,” she captioned the post.

She addressed the decision to make her relationship public on her podcast, telling fans she wanted to get ahead of the internet gossip.

“I would say it was a little early to hard launch someone, 100 percent. However, what we’ve been talking about, I feel very different with this man,” she shared. “But also, I got a call from my publicist that TMZ was going to write an article about us. … I’ve been in this business for 20 years. The media has always controlled the narrative to a large degree. And part of me was like, ‘I want to take it in my own hands.’”

    She addressed the age gap

When the two went public, Kristin received backlash for dating someone over a decade younger than her. She defended her decision on her podcast, telling the haters Mark is not a typical 24-year-old.

“The age thing was a hang-up for me at first,” she said. “Now, I don’t give a f*ck and I’m all in with this guy. I don’t actually care what anybody thinks.”

She continued, “He is not a typical 24-year-old. In the same way that I don’t think I was a typical 24-year-old. I really think age is just a number.”

    They are talking about babies

In the past, Kristin has expressed reservations about dating a guy who wants kids. She already has three children with her ex-husband Jay Cutler. However, she appears to have changed her mind since dating Mark.

On the April 2 episode of her podcast, she revealed she would be open to the idea of having another child.

“He wants to have a kid,” she said. “I’m mulling it over…If he ends up really being the one…I would have a kid.”
