Former NFL Star Marcellus Wiley responds to sexual assault allegations made by Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Annemarie Wiley. He has denied all claims of rape and domestic abuse filed by estranged wife Annemarie in divorce documents. The player posted to X on Tuesday, July 7, saying he plans to fight the allegations through the legal process.

According to Us, Wiley submitted a legal filing on Tuesday, July 21, directly addressing the rape allegations outlined in Annemarie’s divorce and restraining order request. In the documents, Marcellus, 51, said that he has “never forced, coerced, or sexually assaulted” his wife. He also added that it pains him that she now characterizes past moments of marital intimacy as rape.
“We did not have a perfect marriage. We experienced disagreements, frustrations and periods of marital strain.” However, I have never physically abused, sexually assaulted or intentionally harmed my wife at any point during our relationship, either before we were married or during the more than 12 years that we have been husband and wife,” he said.
Marcellus had also addressed the situation in a statement posted to X on July 7, a day after RHOBH star and his estranged wife Annemarie filed for divorce and requested a domestic violence restraining order. “I completely and unequivocally deny these allegations, and I’m certain the truth will prevail,” he wrote. He has maintained that his primary focus remains protecting his relationship with the couple’s children.
Such allegations are not new for the former NFL star. He has also been accused of sexual assault by two women. They allege he raped them decades ago while he played football at Columbia University in the 1990s. A former ESPN colleague has also made a similar accusation against him. Marcellus Wiley has also denied all those allegations.
Annemarie, 42, and Marcellus married in June 2014 and split earlier this month. They share three children.
