Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 15 Episode 13 Recap: Rachel Receives Distressing News

Welcome to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 15, Episode 13 recap. Last time, Boz told Dorit that Kyle was talking behind her back. Rachel spoke to her two sons about filing for divorce from their father, Rodger Berman. And the ladies headed to Florence, Italy, for a fabulous vacation. What could go wrong? Here’s what happened in Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 15, Episode 13: “Read the Room.”

The ladies questioned why Sutton decided to room with Amanda. Finally, Amanda opened up about the cult. And Rachel received upsetting news from home.

Welcome to Villa Bibbiani in The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

Rachel, Erika, and Dorit were thrilled to be in Italy. “I want to eat delicious Italian food. I want to do some shopping,” Dorit said in Italian. Shocking!

Meanwhile, the ladies were stunned by Villa Bibbiani. “This is like movie sh*t. Like sh*t you see in movies, like, not real life,” Erika noted in her confessional. And Rachel was so happy with her room that she said, “Boz should be, like, nominated for president.”

Finally, Jennifer and Kathy arrived and headed to the villa. Jennifer planned to take a naked thirst trap in the pool. In addition, Jennifer’s room opened up to a balcony in the gorgeous chapel. “I know there’s ghosts,” she stated. “I did bring a little ghost repellent, though.”

Then the ladies got glam for a relaxing dinner at the villa. Naturally, Kyle and Boz asked Sutton about her roommate, Amanda. While Kyle was puzzled by Sutton’s decision to room with the newbie, Boz said, “Sutton is planning to take down Amanda in her sleep.”

In her confessional, Kyle said, “I think this is a case of Sutton just doing the most. You really had to go to that extreme, Sutton? Sleeping in twin beds with Amanda?”

When Erika arrived, she noted that Amanda and Rachel were wearing similar print dresses. “I really wanna know what Rachel thinks about twinning with Amanda in this Dolce print dress,” Erika commented shadily in her confessional. “She probably burned it.”

Dorit was tardy for the party in The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

Once again, Dorit was late. Erika tried to call Dorit, but she didn’t answer. So, Erika ran to fetch her. Meanwhile, Boz had a surprise waiting for the group.

Finally, the host Stefano led the ladies to the theater, which was beautiful. Boz had arranged an operatic performance. While the rest of the ladies watched, Amanda was scrolling on her phone.

After the performance, Amanda asked to chat with Dorit. Of course, Dorit didn’t want to miss dinner, so now the conversation will be after the ladies dine. “Dorit has zero respect for Amanda,” Sutton said in her confessional. In Sutton’s opinion, Dorit needs to let Amanda know that she wants to have a relationship with her and make things right. Raise that baby voice, Amanda!

Why did Dorit keep a secret from Erika?

Then, Stefano brought the ladies outside to a gorgeous, candle-lit table. Kyle asked Dorit about dining with her estranged husband, PK Kemsley. “Girl, we flew all the way over here, and you didn’t tell me this sh*t?” Erika asked. “What the f*ck is going on with you? I quit.”

Dorit responded, “I’ve sort of pulled back and really picking and choosing who I speak to about my situation.” Erika didn’t look pleased, and Sutton mouthed the words, “Not you.” Then, Erika rolled her eyes as Dorit said, “It’s my life, and to be judged or to have people’s opinion about what I should or shouldn’t be feeling or saying … it just feels like there are certain people in this group that I feel more comfortable sharing ….” Erika interrupted, “I know you’re not talking about me.” Of course, Dorit said that she wasn’t referring to Erika.

However, she mentioned seeing a photo of Erika holding hands with her new man, John “Shrek” McPhee, in the media. “Hold on a second,” Erika said. “No one knew that.”

When Kyle asked if it was a positive sign that she sat down with PK, Dorit responded, “It’s not about getting back together at all. It’s all about the kids. We now are inserting a consistent schedule.” Amen!

Next, Erika brought up Sutton and Amanda sharing a room. “I just wanted to say to Amanda, ‘Look. It’s okay if you have an opinion. But you should have told Dorit,’” Sutton explained. Then Amanda said that if she told Dorit “the full context” around her comments, Dorit would understand “that no one was talking bad” about her.

“When I asked if you had said it, it felt a lot of putting it on Kyle,” Dorit responded. Then Rachel asked Amanda, “Do you feel like Dorit talking about PK and her situation is not a good thing?”

Amanda replied, “I’ve said it multiple times now. I think it could make her life hard.” The newbie added that most of the RHOBH cast felt the same way. “But you’re most offended that I said it,” she told Dorit.

“You heard Kyle’s opinion, and you adopted it as your own,” Dorit responded. However, Amanda denied it, stating that she “agreed with it.” Then, Kyle tried to throw out a lifeline. “But also, that can be supporting you, by saying, ‘I don’t think this is a good idea’ because we are looking out for you,” Kyle said. However, Boz added that it is different coming from Kyle, because she and Dorit “have history.”

Cue Dorit’s hair flip. “If a friend is coming from a good place, and they say that to you once … you hear them,” Dorit explained. “And then they say it repeatedly and to other people and behind your back … it suddenly starts to feel like it’s no longer they’re looking out for you or trying to look out for you.”

Kathy gives Amanda some advice in RHOBH

Then Kathy had some advice for Amanda. “I think when somebody doesn’t know someone, you’ve got to learn to read the room,” Kathy stated. “And know your place.” Erika commented in her confessional, “If Kathy Hilton, who is a beautifully put-together woman, tells you to ‘read the room and know your place,’ baby, you’re f*cked.”

However, Amanda wanted to get her point across. “What about the fact that it is an informed opinion?” Amanda asked. She explained that she “worked closely with a lot of children of divorced parents as a therapist.” She added, “I did see parents talking bad about each other, making things hard on the family.”

Rachel broke the uncomfortable silence. “But she’s not talking about him to her kids.” When Kyle asked Dorit what she needed from Amanda, Dorit fired back, “Kyle, you’re not the therapist. I don’t need anything.”

So, Amanda chose this moment to ask Dorit why she “went back 357 blog posts” to find the post about the cult. When Dorit replied that she hit up Google, Amanda said that searching her name and the word “cult” doesn’t bring up the post. Finally, Amanda asked if Dorit was looking for “dirt.”

Once again, the RHOBH ladies questioned Amanda about her cult experience, so she finally gave them the details. “We all worked day jobs to support the church,” Amanda said, while they were also “kind of recruiting for the church.”

However, when Amanda shared that she had outlined her next book, which is about the cult, Boz chuckled. In her confessional, Amanda said, “I didn’t know I needed a bat-sh*t crazy person” to keep mentioning “the cult all the time” to “inspire me to write, but God delivered. Thank you, Dorit. Bless her and her ghostwriter.”

The next morning, Jennifer, wearing a face mask and sunglasses, took the glass elevator downstairs. Not only was she stuck in the elevator, but she turned around and gasped to see a life-size polar bear behind her. “Help,” she moaned. “I just want a cappuccino.”

Meanwhile, Rachel was dealing with an issue on the home front. While sleeping, Rachel got a text from her son, Kaius, who was staying with his father. “He basically tells me, you know, his dad sat him down to talk about the girlfriend. A month ago, she showed up at the airport before they were leaving for camp,” Rachel explained in her confessional. “And then I believe he said, ‘This is my friend.’”

In addition, Rachel told Dorit that she said to Rodger, ‘Don’t you dare tell them about her, or bring her around them without my consent.’”  She added, “After the airport … I annihilated him for that. Then the first night you’re f*cking with him, in five weeks, six weeks … and this is what you do?”

Rachel added, “He knows I’m away. Like, you f*cking *sshole.” She continued, “The whole thing is so twisted.” All Rachel wants is to be home with her son.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
