The Real Housewives: 100 Best Moments Ever (80-71)

Season 18 of Real Housewives of Orange County is the 100th season of Real Housewives. So, Reality Tea is taking a trip down memory lane to celebrate and honor this fabulous occasion.

We are looking back at the funniest, most cringe-worthy, and dramatic moments across all franchises. Check out our selections for #80-71 in our countdown of the 100 best Real Housewives moments.

    80. Dorinda Medley is feeling Jovani! (RHONY)

Dorinda Medley was upset when her Real Housewives of New York co-star, Luann de Lesseps, neglected to invite her boyfriend, John Mahdessian, to her cabaret show. Luann claimed to have forgotten and told Dorinda that she could purchase a ticket. Excuse me?

This came after Dorinda was able to set Luann up with several Jovani gowns for free. So, an alcohol-enhanced Dorinda came to Luann’s show, Countess and Friends, and heckled her by screaming “Jovani!” repeatedly. And I kind of loved it. Dorinda is usually at her best when she is fired up.

    79. Mary Cosby claimed that Jen Shah “smelled like hospital” (RHOSLC)

During the debut season of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, we were introduced to Mary Cosby and her over-the-top frenemy Jen Shah. While Jen was hosting a birthday party for Meredith Marks, someone asked Mary about dissing Jen’s aroma. She responded, “I didn’t say she. I said, ‘It smells like hospital in here.’” But in her confessional, Mary admitted, “I’m sorry, but Jen and her entire crew smell like hospital.”

Mary explained that a long hospital stay rendered able to detect this enticing aroma. But Jen was having none of it. Jen exclaimed, “My aunt got double amputated and you said, ‘You smell like hospital!’” These ladies fight over the strangest issues.

    78. Taylor Armstrong freaks out at Camille Grammer (RHOBH)

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills newbie Brandi Glanville hosted a wine tasting in a beautiful Malibu beach house. It was the first time that Taylor Armstrong saw Camille Grammer since Camille revealed on camera that Taylor’s husband, Russell Armstrong, abused her.

The scene quickly became chaotic, with all the ladies trying to calm an inebriated Taylor. When Camille’s friend called out Taylor for ignoring Camille’s apologies, Taylor broke down.

“I have been her friend. I have never hurt her!” Taylor screamed as the Beverly Hills ladies held her back. “She has hurt me so much! You have no idea what she has done to me!” This dramatic moment of Taylor shouting and pointing became an infamous cat meme during the pandemic. What a world we live in with the Real Housewives.

    77. Bolo the stripper drives the ladies crazy (RHOA)

Kandi Burruss hosted the ultimate bachelorette party for Cynthia Bailey during Season 13 of Real Housewives of Atlanta. The ladies strutted their stuff in sexy lingerie, and then stripper Bolo and “his thang” made their debut.

“How many arms do you have?” Porsha Williams asked as Bolo was gyrating on the floor. In a hilarious moment, Cynthia made it sprinkle when she pulled out some single bills for Bolo. Lordy!

After the performance, the Atlanta ladies shut off the cameras, except for some audio. Bolo stayed for a private dance for some of the tipsy peaches, before allegedly sleeping with at least one of the cast members.

    76. Frankie and Peter Rosello rap for their mom, Alexia Nepola (RHOM)

Real Housewives of Miami star Alexia Nepola was in for a shock when her sons, Peter Rosello and Frankie Rosello, played a rap for her that Frankie had recorded. Sadly, Frankie suffered a traumatic brain injury in a terrible car crash. And music was one of the ways that he connected with his brother, Peter.

Alexia was getting her groove on when she finally caught some of the lyrics. Something about being high and “hopping on that hoochie.” Oof. “Oh my God, Frankie, those lyrics,” Alexia said in her confessional. “My face says it all.”

    75. Dorinda Medley confronts Candace Bushnell, uses now iconic line (RHONY)

When Ramona Singer hosted a dinner party, I’m sure she never expected Hurricane Dorinda. After insulting her RHONY co-star, Sonja Morgan, Dorinda confronted the author of Sex and the City, Candace Bushnell. What would Carrie Bradshaw do? Run!

“Here’s the thing, Candace. Do what you got to do, but don’t come here and extend a hand to me. ‘Hi Dorinda! How are you doing?’” Dorinda said. “You know, f*ck you. I’ll tell you how I’m doing. Not well, b*tch.”

    74. Candiace Dillard Bassett throws Ashley Darby out, but offered a beverage first (RHOP)

Real Housewives of Potomac alum Candiace Dillard Bassett hosted the ladies at a dinner party at her home. But when things turned heated with Ashley Darby, Candiace’s husband Chris Bassett had to step out of the kitchen and hold his wife back. Ashley told Candiace, “I’m in your Mama’s house right now.” An innocent butter knife was flung at Ashley as Candiace screamed, “You will not talk about my mother!”

After ordering Ashley to leave, Candiace spoke to her guests. “Try me in that kangaroo restaurant,” she said, referencing Ashley and her husband Michael Darby’s Australian eatery. “Don’t try me in my house. I invited her into my home. I gave her a beverage,” Candiace added. That was Real Housewives hospitality at its finest.

    73. Lisa Vanderpump gives Adrienne Maloof some cooking pointers (RHOBH)

Lisa Vanderpump decided to teach her pal Adrienne Maloof how to roast a chicken. Adrienne, already gloved up, was horrified when Lisa instructed her to “reach inside his bottom.” After removing the necessary parts, Lisa instructed Adrienne to wash her chicken.

So, Adrienne lathered him up with some soap and water. When Lisa asked if she just used soap, Adrienne replied, “Of course. I want to wash it.” Lisa was dumbfounded as Adrienne went on to explain the dangers of contracting salmonella. That was one squeaky-clean bird.

    72. The drama over Beyoncé’s VVIP section (RHODubai)

Real Housewives of Dubai ladies had a great time at Beyoncé’s concert. But only Chanel Ayan and Lesa Milan were in the VVIP section along with Beyoncé’s mother and Kendall Jenner.

But according to Caroline Brooks, she was so close to the superstar in the VIP section that she could smell Beyoncé’s conditioner. Then Caroline Stanbury shared how close she was to the singer. “I got wet from Beyonce,” Stanbury remarked, claiming that sweat from the dancing performer landed on her. And she shaded the VVIP for being “another block away.”

    71. Luann de Lesseps slams Alex McCord’s fashion choice (RHONY)

During Season 4 of RHONY, Luann and Alex McCord met up for a coffee date. And the countess was shocked that Alex would have any issues with her from the group’s trip to Morocco.

“I was sitting there having a lovely moment with the ladies, and you came in in your Herman Munster shoes,” Luann said. “Um, they’re Louis Vuitton shoes, you know?” Alex replied.

“Well, you know, even Louis Vuitton makes mistakes,” Luann quipped. Another iconic moment from the cabaret star. Then Alex called her “rude.” In the end, I guess money didn’t buy the countess class – at least in Alex’s opinion.

Stay tuned for our next drop, where we will cover moments 70 to 61.
