Below Deck Down Under Season 4 is winding down, but the drama has only just begun. As fans know, Captain Jason Chambers and his actual (IYKYK) Heads of Departments have high standards. They demand professionalism and a high work ethic at all times. So, when one yachtie pushed back on their workload and then gave Daisy Kelliher grief, she and Captain Jason had no choice but to let this crew member go.
Who got fired on Below Deck Down Under Season 4 Episode 14?
Mike Durrant thoroughly enjoys winding people up. But when he went too far with Jenna Woudberg, Jenna went and got Daisy. As fans already know, Daisy has had many conversations with Mike about his behavior. So, needless to say, Daisy went straight to Mike to shut down his antics.
As soon as Daisy found Mike, she asked, “What did I say about winding people up?” But Mike chose to lie, suggesting, “I haven’t said anything.”
Thankfully, Daisy knew better. No longer here for his games, Daisy told Mike, “Okay, you’re working until 9 pm tonight.” But there Mike went, digging his toe in ever further with a “We’ll see about that” response.
So, Daisy walked back in, asking, “Excuse me? What did you just say to me?” Stubbornly, Mike answered, “I said I’m not working till 9 pm tonight.”
This is where Daisy finally snapped. “Okay. You can get off the boat. Get off the boat,” she demanded. Once he walked off, Daisy went and found Captain Jason, who promptly fired Mike.
But Mike wasn’t pressed. Instead, right before his departure, he wound Alesia Harris up one final time, saying, “Personally, I don’t think I did anything wrong.”
As for what Mike is up to now, he just posted alongside Joe Bradley on Instagram. In his caption, Mike teased, “Wish us luck on our first day of work tomorrow together,” followed by two yacht emojis. The comments thus far are an equal mix of “I would fling myself overboard immediately” and “This is an iconic duo.”
