Eddie Osefo is adding another career to his resume. The Real Housewives of Potomac personality has officially entered the real estate business. However, the announcement comes as Eddie and his wife, Wendy Osefo, continue dealing with their pending fraud case. Their legal battle remains unresolved as they prepare for trial next year.
Eddie Osefo is launching a real estate career amid legal issues
Eddie announced his new venture in an Instagram post on Sept. 1. “I’m excited to announce a new venture as a licensed REALTOR!” he wrote. In addition, Eddie said his background as an attorney sparked his interest in real estate development and investing. He also highlighted his interest in building generational wealth through property.
Now, Eddie plans to help clients buy and sell homes, invest in commercial property, and find spaces for businesses. He added that he can also work as a closing attorney. His new firm, Garner & Co., currently lists Eddie among its agents. Meanwhile, Wendy Osefo celebrated the announcement in his Instagram comments.
“Forever proud of you baby!! Keep going,” Wendy wrote. She also highlighted his work as an attorney, real estate agent, and cannabis business owner. Of course, this is not Eddie’s first business venture outside RHOP. Previously, he launched his Happy Eddie cannabis brand.
However, his new Realtor career arrives as he and Wendy face an ongoing fraud case. Maryland authorities arrested the couple in October 2025 after prosecutors accused them of making fraudulent insurance claims connected to a reported burglary.
Prosecutors allege that the couple claimed hundreds of thousands of dollars in property losses. Eddie and Wendy continue to fight the charges. More recently, the court scheduled their joint trial for Jan. 25 through Jan. 29, 2027.
Meanwhile, Wendy remains part of The Real Housewives of Potomac. Therefore, viewers may see more of the family’s changing professional and legal circumstances on Real Housewives television.
For now, Eddie is moving ahead with his latest business venture while the criminal case continues through the Maryland court system.
