New poster and never-before-seen images revealed as FOUND TV announces early access for subscribers and a strictly limited alternate-ending Blu-ray.
FOUND TV has announced the release plans for its first in-house original feature, A Possession in Lincoln County, beginning with its theatrical premiere at the Hamilton Film Festival on Thursday, October 22, 2026, followed by a Q&A with members of the filmmaking team.
The film will make its streaming debut worldwide on FOUND TV Friday, October 23, with FOUND TV+ subscribers receiving one-day early access on October 22, the same day as the theatrical premiere.
Directed by Louie La Vella and written by Monica La Vella, A Possession in Lincoln County follows Jake, a man documenting his wife’s battle with cancer. When her diagnosis becomes terminal, desperation leads him to an ancient ritual and an attempt to make a deal with the Devil. What begins as an effort to save the person he loves quickly spirals into kidnapping, demonic ritual and the consequences of asking for something that should never be granted.
The film stars Matt Gallagher Heakes, Sabrina Knappett, Hannah Brennen and JoAnn Bundock.
Produced for under $10,000, the 72-minute found-footage feature marks FOUND TV’s first original film produced entirely in-house and the platform’s first step from exclusively exhibiting independent found footage into producing its own.
Alongside the release announcement, FOUND TV has unveiled a brand-new theatrical poster and a collection of never-before-seen stills from the film.
AN ENDING THAT WILL NEVER STREAM
FOUND TV previously announced a physical-media edition created specifically for early supporters of the film. The collectible Blu-ray will feature an alternate ending that will never be released on FOUND TV or made available through streaming.
Only 500 copies will ever be produced.
Once those editions are gone, the alternate version of the film will no longer be available for purchase, making the Blu-ray a unique version of the FOUND Original reserved for its earliest physical-media supporters.
“We wanted the physical release to actually mean something,” said director and FOUND TV co-founder Louie La Vella. “If someone is supporting an independent film by owning it physically, we wanted to give them something that can’t just be watched online later. There are only going to be 500 copies with this ending, and that’s it.”
