Meredith Marks is setting the record straight about her hair after becoming the subject of speculation on RHOSLC. With Season 7 premiering on September 16, the reality star’s appearance has sparked conversations among viewers. Her response comes after co-star Whitney Rose said Marks is wearing fake hair.
Meredith Marks says she has no visible facelift scars and hasn’t shared why she is wearing a wig
Meredith discussed her recent facelift with her castmates during the second episode of Season 7, revealing that the procedure had taken place about a month earlier. She also explained her decision in a September 23 essay for Marie Claire.
She wrote, “I got to the point last year where everything on my face felt heavy—I wanted to lighten and brighten. I was itching to look like a more refreshed version of myself. I feel so great. I feel very young. I’m very healthy. I wanted my face to match how I felt. I ended up having a facelift with Dr. Kassabian in February. Honestly, I never had any intention of hiding it.”
While Meredith has been open about her facelift, her hair has become a separate topic of discussion. Whitney made a surprising remark during a recent confessional, seemingly revealing that Meredith had been wearing fake hair since her latest procedure.
A Bravo fan also weighed in on Threads, questioning why Meredith was wearing a wig. The fan wrote, “Do we know why Meredith is wearing a wig? They keep going in on a situation that she may not have chosen. This might be body-shaming.” Meredith did not let the speculation go unanswered.
The 54-year-old wrote, “Let me be clear. I have no visible scars to hide. My doctor is excellent. And no, they do not know why I am wearing a wig. I did not share that information.” However, she remained tight-lipped about the details surrounding her hair. Meanwhile, many fans shared their thoughts on the matter.
One of them wrote, “People have been wearing wigs for centuries; who cares? You look fantastic, and it’s an incredibly well-made wig. No one needs a reason for your follicle choices.”
